A series of protests against the World Cup promises to mobilize thousands of protesters across the country on Saturday ( 25 ) by means of summonses by the social networks under the motto " Do not Go Tue Cup " . Participants were called in the main capitals and towns to what will be the first test of the power of mobilizing movements that gained strength in June last year during the Confederations Cup .

Protests are scheduled in the major capitals of the country on Saturday ( 25 )


Manifesto published in networks announces that " the purpose of the protests against the 2014 World Cup is to fight for the interests of the people and anyone who wants a fairer and more equal country. Instruct the people , increasingly , to a real democracy , participatory , which also governs it , and no where is governed by supposed representatives . "

The series of events this Saturday will also test the response of governments to the turmoil in the streets .
In São Paulo , about 3000 participants plan to focus from 17h to go MASP , leave on march through Avenida Paulista . In Rio de Janeiro , the meeting point will be in front of the Copacabana Palace Hotel .
