The judges confirmed the decision on collective damages of U.S. $ 1 million

The 8th Chamber of the Regional Labor Court of the 1st Region (TRT-RJ) ruled in a unanimous decision, the immediate reinstatement of 850 employees laid off in 2012 Webjet by Gol airline.

The judges of the TRT also confirmed the decision on collective damages of U.S. $ 1 million set in the first degree.

In the trial on Tuesday (3), the college increased from R $ 100 to R $ 1000 daily fine per worker in the event of noncompliance with the decision.

A federal judge Maria Aparecida Coutinho Magalhães, rapporteur of the judgment, argued that the goal could not have done a mass layoff without prior negotiation with the union”.
